Verdict
Shark's bagless 60-day base and matrix grid cleaning; strong value from a non-Shopify giant we test off-bench.
- Bagless 60-day HEPA base
- Matrix-style row overlap picks up more debris
- Self-cleaning brushroll for hair
- No LiDAR — mapping is cruder
- Mopping is basic sonic drag
Best for: Homes that want a bagless base like Eureka's but from a big-box brand.
Skip it if: Multi-room precision mapping matters to you.

Written reviews elsewhere
“For several months, I found the Shark AI Ultra to be a reliable cleaning companion. You can’t ask for much more than that.”
Wired“The robot vacuum space may be dominated by iRobot and Roborock, but Shark has quietly released one of the best robot vacuums we've tested. The Shark AI Ultra is the rare hybrid that vacuums and mops equally well, and for $300, it's a bargain.”
Mashable“With thorough mapping abilities, improved obstacle avoidance, and three suction levels, the Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop leaves every corner of your home impressively clean.”
